Some of the comments in this thread are downright cringeworthy, sigh.

Anyway, hopefully Scorpio does have something like PS4 Pro's boost mode that improves performance for standard Xbox One games that had performance issues before (Just Cause 3, Project Cars, AC Unity, etc.), and hopefully there are alot more games with Scorpio patches at launch than PS4 Pro had, considering devs will have had more time to work on Scorpio than they had work on PS4 Pro before launch.

Glad Phil is finally trying in Japan. Don't know how much headway he will make, but at least he has some ammo now, the fact that FFXV has most likely sold over 1m (with digital) on XB1 is sure to be good news to Japanese devs who had qualms about Xbox One before. Porting costs are lower this gen thanks to XB1 and PS4 both using x86 and AMD tech, which means you need less sales to turn a profit on a port. Most likely any game that will sell at least 100k copies on XB1 will turn a profit on the port, and there are still quite a few JP series that could sell 100k+ on XB1 that aren't on XB1 yet.

That Scorpio affect, those comments will only get worse until it releases. Just showing that insecurity and fear over a piece of a hardware.

Good news Phil is going to Japan, hopefully its not for a holiday and something more long overdue...
