Well, maybe if they had housing, they wouldn't need to resort to crime? Homeless people are very vulnerable and desperate, it's not surprising that they'd commit drastic things.

Proper housing yes definitely, our problem is not homelessness per say but shanties that houses a lot of people and in some cases more than one family and compress that into a few square meters. :(
