So similar to how Milo Yiannopoulos's book shot up to #1 on Amazon after the UC Berkeley riots, PewDiePie's rate of receiving new subscribers made a big uptick after the media published its allegations.
From Jan 20 to Feb 7, he gets about 26K new subscribers per day. Something weird must have happened during the time period from Feb 8 to Feb 11, so that was why I chose the aforementioned timeframe. The media began to publish its allegations on Feb 14. From Feb 14 to Feb 17, PewDiePie has earned about 289K new subs or at a rate of 72K per day. So far today, he has earned over 40K new subs.
