Interesting topic, let´s see..
1 - The Last Guardian. I do understand why some people may not like it, but I do recommend it if you like puzzle and contemplative games.
2 - Shin Megami Tensei IV Apocalypse. Excellent old-style rpg with a mature story.
3 - The King of Fighters XV. The best fighting game of 2016, hands down. Cool characters, cool mechanics, vibrant environments. And local multiplayer (yes, I´m looking at you, SF5).
