Eventually, since this is hostile territory to the federation, they come in to battle the space pirates, and eventually find Samus there - they try to hunt her down alongside their main mission, but eventually are overpowered by the space pirates and are saved by Samus herself, putting an end to her wanted status. As she continues further into the planet, she finds out it is most likely the place where the space pirates actually originated from, and starts to unravel a lot of secrets about them (or maybe not), and is finally attacked by Ridley (final boss this time). Once he's down, it's made as clear as ever that this time, he's really gone for good (as if that death scene in Prime wasn't extreme enough), and then Samus finds some Chozo ruins at the core of the planet, very much like the ones she found in Zero Mission. There, she goes through some sort of ritual that completely removes her suit from her (she couldn't take it off after Fusion), and she's "purified" and back to being just a normal human being. After that, the planet starts to blow up, and you have to escape with just Zero Suit level stuff, which eventually you do, and that's that. Samus is free from the federation, free from her suit, and has pretty much destroyed everything the galaxy had to fear (although there could be some indication that the space pirates haven't been completely eradicated, instead just being reduced to non-threatening numbers). And then she just... retires. Or whatever. I also want a new 3D Metroid. |
I loved your idea for a new Metroid. Just love it. But I have to confess, I'm a fan of Other M. So, I actually pictured all of it in Other M style. Sorry. (but in 2D would be awesome too)
OP: I have some ideas for a new Donkey Kong Country and a new Sunset Riders, but I will avoid using existing IPs. I used to thought a lot in new games when I was younger. Games that would be a dream for me. The one I could remember (and still want to play it) is a game about the final judgement. The world is in final condition, it will end in a few days (for any reason like global warming, a comet coming towards earth, whatever). God descends from heaven to judge all the people left here and give them a last chance of redemption, before starting life in a new planet. In the same time, Satan ascends from hell for a chance of beating God and become the ruler of the world. A war of angels and demons took place in earth. You play as a regular human at first, but your choices let you adquire powers and skills from one side or another, becoming an angel or a demon yourself. All boss and areas are open since the beggining, but try to face God or the Devil when you don't have powers for it and you'll get you ass kicked (and have to start over). You can do missions of both sides and adquire some powers from both, but your reputation affects what you can do, with all NPC interecting with you taking this in consideration (a bad reputation will eventually prevent you from upgrade and adquire angel-like powers). If you take too much time without being poweful enough, the world can end without you being able of challenging God/Devil, and the winner side would be decided by all that happen during your gameplay (things can chance each time you play, with diffent missions and actions, or actions taking place in different times and places). If you are fast enough, you can even become so powerful that you beat Devil and God before the world ends and become the ruler of the universe.
