There are and will be plenty of better treatments for cancer than chemo.  Chemo kills all cells no matter if they are cancerous or healthy cells.  A treatment that targets cancer cells only is far superior.

Irrellevent. You don't know their treatment history, they may have exhausted all other options.

I will trust a doctor who has spent years educating themselves over this particular topic over some random person on the internet.
