They can join my world, but it can't be started without my profile. It simply doesn't show up under load game same with any other co-op game, even though we've worked on it together since the start.
It's a combination of digital and locking savegames to profiles. If I'm playing a physical game (offline) than it doesn't matter that they use my account on the base ps4. Yet I can't play a digital game if they need to access our shared save data which is locked to my account.
On the side, never going fully digital. Too many hoops and restrictions and nothing to love and hold!
