In principle, both my wife and I believe that it's the most commercial holiday of the year. We do it to "go with the flow, " but very casually compared to the general populace. If nothing else, our anniversary is just a month before which makes Valentine's Day pale in comparison anyway. We just came back from ComicCon for our anniversary. I'm not spending another $2,000 this week.
