@ Magnifico
I get the impression that you have an attitude with my post. If so please don't take it so personal.

If I can see something that is running in low resolution on my 20" PC monitor then I should have no problem seeing it on my 42" HDTV. Higher resolution equals greater details.
High frame rate makes the game look smoother. Higher frame rate and higher resolution is why consoles didn't stop with PS. Back in PS days you were lucky if a game ran 30fps.

To tell the truth, even in this generation you can consider yourself lucky if your games play at 30 fps without stuttering every once in a while (except if you're playing Wii games by Nintendo, which seem to run mostly at stable 60 fps so far). This is why I think lower resolution is perfectly justfied for NG2, a game which really requires 60 fps.

Definitely, but the choice is baffling for something like Haze which struggles to maintain 30fps.  Why a low resolution and a low frame rate?
