(Yup like i said neccesity point still stands and yeah i wouldn't boast a f2p to make bilions kind kills the economic part you said doesn't it to spend money on cosmetics stuff and whatever thar game has for microtransactions)

You do understand the concept of choice do you not? You have the choice to spend money on Microtransactions.

Besides, even console AAA games these days are riddled with Microtransactions... And those games are full Price. Halo, Call of Duty, Battlefield... All have Microtransactions, so don't act like consoles are immune to that phenomenon.

Here have some proof of Microtransactions in AAA games (Halo 5):
https://tinyurl.com/q97xgjs

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Microtransactions:

http://www.playstationlifestyle.net/2016/11/15/call-duty-points-now-available-infinite-warfare/

Uncharted 4 Microtransactions:

(Never said there wasn't,but the one isn't making their entire profit from microtransactions one is)

(Again Comparing 30 year old machine to a 3 year old console come on don't do that and plus if i were to go back and put all PS games it would have over 10k games but i don't do that and yeah emulation is illegal but whatever floats your boat )

You can have all your Playstation games. But they will not all run on the Playstation 4.
The Playstation 4 for example cannot play back Audio Discs which *drum roll* the Playstation 1 used.
And even combining every single Playstation game, will still not equate to the same amount of games on PC. PC still has far more.

Because you are worried about the legitimacy of the facts I present... Here is evidence the Playstation 4 cannot play back Compact Discs.
http://manuals.playstation.net/document/en/ps4/videos/videodisc.html

And I quote:
"Playback of these types of discs is not supported. *CD"

6,000 games on Steam. (That was last year.)
http://www.cinemablend.com/games/There-How-Many-Games-Steam-81967.html
Steam is adding almost 8 games per day.
http://www.pcgamer.com/steam-games-number-of-too-many/

Thus we could be looking at 10,000 games on just Steam alone by now. And that ignores so many more games released over the last quarter century.

Playstation 4 has 1323 games.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_PlayStation_4_games

Sure defend dude for everyone to dump their pile of shit code on to steam and 98% of them were indies dear god wth.

And i have a ps1 to run all those games so it's not a big deal

(again Opinion high end enthusiasts you don't compare them to A 250$ console or 400$ one don't do that)

You don't need a high-end or enthusiast grade PC to beat the Playstation 4.

I don't think you understand that the Playstation 4 is not high-end hardware.

(Never even said it's high end you were talking about high end yourself and i said not to compare 250$ console to high end machine)

Hapuc12 said:

(Again that is an opinion not a fact you are comparing high end machine to mid range one still it's an opinion not a fact)

Nope. Not an Opinion.
A PC can give you better graphics than the Playstation 4 and Xbox One, even a PC with a Radeon 7850 (Roughly the same as the PS4) can give you better graphics than the Playstation 4. - Take Battlefield for instance, you can sacrifice framerate and dial-up the Graphics.

And unlike the Playstation 4, can even render it at the full 1080P. Full 1080P. Let that sink in for a moment. 1080P.

Playstation 4 battlefield resolution only 900P - http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-2016-hands-on-with-battlefield-1-on-console
Radeon 7870 38fps. - Full 1080P. Ultra settings. - http://www.legitreviews.com/battlefield-1-dx12-benchmarks-three-resolutions-tested-dozen-video-cards_187267/3
You could tone it down to the console Medium/High Mix and hit 60fps.

The PC has this thing called "Choice" have you heard of it? It's such an amazing concept, it really really is.

(we weren't talking about choice, and yeah ps4 plays battlefield on high 60fps so yeah you didn't get anywhere with this argument try harder)

(Something can't be best when you are not good at it mouse and keyboard are maybe worse controles for someone again opinion)

*facepalm* You don't get it.

Allow me to rephrase what I said. - You are not required to use a keyboard and mouse on PC. You can use whatever controller you want, not opinion, it is fact.

Here have some proof:
Xbox One controller on PC: http://support.xbox.com/en-AU/xbox-on-windows/accessories/connect-xbox-one-controller-to-pc
Playstation 4 controller on PC: https://www.playstation.com/en-au/explore/ps4/accessories/

Or use a myriad of adapters so you could use a controller like the Nintendo 64 controller on PC: https://www.amazon.com/MAYFLASH-N64-Controller-Adapter-Pc/dp/B002B9FIUU

(Dude dude you said it yourself kb+m are the best and i said it's all about the skill and you can use xbox controller kb+m on ps4 but whatever you don't get it)

(HAHAHAH no not really i get physical games day one for 34 euros sometimes even less while digital games go lowest about 40 euros so it's not true and most retailers cut the price on physical games to half after few weeks while on digital it stays for months till it's some kind of sale or something so again dude not true)

You are going to need to elaborate more.
But here. Have some proof that PHYSICAL PC games are cheaper. (Taken from EB Games Australia, the largest physical video game retailer here.)

As for Digital. Keep in mind that unlike console-land, PC digital stores compete with each other, if you buy a PC game full-price digitally, then you are doing it wrong.
Amazon.com, Gog.Com, Greenmangaming.com, Steam, Origin, uPlay, Direct2Drive, GamersGate, Desura and the dozens of key sites and so much more... There is always a sale on somewhere. - Which is why PC Digital is always cheaper than console Digital. Always.

Steam sales also tend to discount thousands of games at the same time every season, which is more than what Xbox or Playstation does.

You were saying ahhahahah nice try and yeah there is always a deal going on Physical stores for consoles oooooo new concept.

And dude let's be honest in last 2 years steam sales sucked.

Hapuc12 said:

(Yeah i didn't know where you were going with this i thought you said on the go or something i don't know doesn't matter)

It does matter. If you think Playstation Now and the Playstation 4 is in the same vain as Laptop, you are highly mistaken.

The Switch is not going to be running the same kind of games, nor does it even have a game library, nor is it even out yet, so that comparison is moot.

This is Portable:

This is not:

Do you need more evidence for the portability argument? Or is that enough?

Ahhhhhhh hahahahahahah then that makes my argument even more valid but ok whatever you say.

(ah so not an official source ok)

You do realise why GoG.com exists don't you? It takes old games, patches and fixes them to run on modern systems.
See here: https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2015/09/16/how-gog-com-save-and-restore-classic-videogames/

DosBox. For Emulating DOS based games. (Lots of Early Windows 95/98 games used Dos.)
http://www.dosbox.com/

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WoW64
And I quote: " 16-bit legacy applications for MS-DOS and early versions of Windows are usually incompatible with 64-bit versions of Windows Vista, 7 and 8, but can be run on a 16-bit or 32-bit Windows OS via Microsoft Virtual PC or DOSbox."

Ahhhh good to know i didn't know that i don't buy on GoG thank you.

Hapuc12 said:

(No not really i'm guessing you don't even know when emulation is allowed do you for hardware and software)

Emulation is legal. It is the acquisition of Roms and Software that is illegal.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Video_game_console_emulator#Legal_issues

Good like i said emulation is allowed when there is no more od that product to be found anywhere but from what i have seen i can find all of them most of the consoles and hand helds.

And don't use wikipedia for that kind of arguments please it pisses me off.

http://scholarlycommons.law.northwestern.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=1022&context=njtip

go to page 10--11 and see why is it illegal and why aren't makers using copyright.

Hapuc12 said:

( we weren't talking about gaming, but it can so the point still stands)

In that case. Xbox One will never have games authered on a 4k Blu Ray Disc. Because the original Xbox One couldn't run them.

Because it was never meant to play 4K games they said it themself not much of a debate here.

Hapuc12 said:

(Sure but pay online it so you have to pay )

You have to pay twice on a console.
You also have the choice of not paying for online and not paying for an MMO and play other games instead. Free.

Yup just like on consoles and mmo games you don't have to pay choice.

Hapuc12 said:

Again dude you are using opinions not facts.

I have provided plenty of "facts". - I have linked to evidence to support my claims.
If you are unable to meet a similar level of quality in your reply, I shall assume you are not serious at all and just wasting everyone's time.
I also apologise in advance for any burns you may have received.

Burns ahahahah good one.

You were funniest when it came to emulation i laughed at that.

And we are done with this conversation we will go in circles with this conversation all day and night so let's pull a brake ;)

Nice conversation.
