I'd be surprised if any current devs haven't played a Nintendo game or looked to Nintendo for inspiration. Mario Bros and Zelda were literally the building blocks for games today.
We'll see how these VR projects go. I guess he's trying to say they're not ruling out VR just yet...I would have to disagree at this point, but let's see where it goes.
