The mouse allows for faster and more precise aiming.
The Keyboard allows for more keys to be mapped.
This is why PC games have different balancing to console gaming, Overwatch is a good example of that.
Like all control schemes, it does take time to get accustomed to... But without a doubt the Keyboard and Mouse is the best control scheme.
