I thought the dock price was high too, but USB-C hdmi docks which also charge aren't that cheap either.

It is kinda a regression from what most other controllers have.

Given that the benefits from having the light bar are taken away from the fact that:
    It is not used by most developers.
    Drains the battery faster.
    Adds more complexity to finding out what player you are at a glance.
    Reflects off of glossy TVs.
