I bet a lot of these people complaining probably spent 400-500 bucks on a console, 60 bucks on most of their games, are shelling out $60 a year for online services, and threw $100 down on that premium XB One Gears controller..
I mean, yeah 70 bucks is probably a little overpriced but compared to other gaming controllers/accesories, and the fact that you get charging, HD rumble, and gyro functionality, it's really not too bad.
People also forget Nintendo can't really afford to bleed money in their gaming divisions while earning enough revenue to cover their losses in other avenues. They are purely a gaming company, and thus have to profit in that field, otherwise there IS no Nintendo..
