I don't think there is a demo for AoC yet (why, I don't know)
I'm not sure how well it would run on a laptop with an 8600GT 512MB, but laptop gaming in general is a fairly expensive endeavor considering the price you pay doesn't even provide the best performance.
As for playing this on XBL, I'll pass. For an MMO like Conan, I'd much rather be playing with PC gamers. That's not even taking into account that it looks and runs better on my PC than it could ever hope to on a 360.
