This is the same for every console at launch. New features and improvements are always added later on. You guys are just making a mountain out of a molehill. 99.99% of the people already have something they can watch Netflix on. So yeah, I don't give a shit about the Switch not having a Netflix app at launch and neither does anyone else (besides people who aren't going to buy the Switch but love complaining about it).

Take a look at the Sony Discussion section, there's a thread about the PS4 Pro "Beast" mode. Should have been there from the start. Obviously Sony rushed the PS4 Pro. /s
