Yet you go with the lowest possible one? In the absolute heaviest use case scenario? Right.
Only reason why the switch pro controller will last longer is because it's battery is 1300mAh instead of the stock 1000mAh, and since all inputs are digital the communication between console and controller uses less bandwidth and thus less radio power/update blocks but at the cost of no analog buttons.
Average ds4 battery life is still 6-8hr on normal play, 12-16 with a $5 battery upgrade.
But the thing is, I didn't even bring up the DS4, I was comparing it to the battery life on my Xbox one controller, but I see why you would bring up the DS4, I mean.. it's a bit of a straw man to an argument of switch pro vs Xbox one battery life but if it's the best you have then..
