Well, I'm from Brazil too (Curitiba, Paraná) and I haven't seen something like that here

I'm really sorry for your loss, our country is a mess right now... I really wish I could just move from here. I'm grateful that Paraná is a very rich state, so we're not facing lack of security here (well not yet lol).

I thought Dilma's administration was bad, but Michel Temer is even worst. F*** bastard

I`ll replie in english so anyone in the forum can follow the discussion

In Goiás the state of public security is horrendous. Marconi Perillo is a fucking bastard, he refuses to hire new police men even having more than one thousand people that passed the public tests and are just waiting to be trained and start their work. He always do that, he knows things are going to shit, but he let`s it happen so he can sell the miracle solution of privatization of said public service, wich works a little but isn`t any magic solution also.

I`ve already traveled to the south, I visited Curitiba, Florianopolis, Guaratuba and Maringá and some other smaller cities, when I as a child I went there almost twice a year because of my step-father. And I also visited a lot of the North because my grandparents from my mother side lived in Tocantins. The difference in realities is brutal, I mean, it`s like there`s two or more countries inside Brazil, one part looks like Africa and the other like Europe. I visited Salvador last year, and for particular reasons I`ll going to move there once I finish my education in Goiania. Is a nice city if you stay in the nices places, but what shocked the most there is the racial segregation. I mean, if you go to the mall most people are white, but just outside the mall most people are black.
