Nintendo fans (like myself) just admit it: That SUCKS. It's probably a great game that would add variety to the console.

But also, it's what we should expect. The only third party games that will come for Switch are the ones that really make sense. Sports games, fighting games, platforming games and, if the Skyrim sells well, less demanding versions of some successful AAA games.

Skyrim is the exception, not the rule.

That's a much more refreshing attitude than "we didn't want it anyways", or any variation of "it would be a bad port", "bad optimization".

So well done.

Actually, that's easier to accept when you already have a PS4 or a XOne. But in the end, anyone who really want a Switch will have to face the truth: it won't have a lot a excellent games. Just won't. It can sell bazillions units and it won't change the fact that the majority of triple A third party games won't come. Because of power, because of the relationship Nintendo have with third parties or because people just won't buy it (for various reasons: late port, bad port, incomplete port, buying the better version in other console/PC or even because Nintendo fans really don't like that type of games). It doesn't mean that a game is bad or the company who made it is greedy/bad/lazy. Also, it doesn't mean the Switch is bad and people shouldn't buy it. It's a good concept and I'm sure it will have good first party games and more support then the Wii U. If you see value in it, just buy it (like I intend to do one day). But don't jump blindly in this train and pretend that all games will come and the ones who doesn't are shitty games.
