It's almost impossible to have a legal gun. Almost every house have high walls and electric fence in high and mid class neighbours. Dogs are common too. You cannot shot anyone in your own property, that's not considered self-defense in brazilian law. Jair Bolsonaro (a brazilian deputy) tried to change this, but without success.
We are fucked one way or another. In the end, with all that, the good people are the ones who live in prisons.
