Well it is the game industry in general.  Personally how they did it with Fallout 4 was the best for me. Show a trailer/Teaser before E3..Then weeks later at E3 show the game again with some special gameplay elements and release date in less than 6 months...  

I just don't get excited for announcing games with no release dates. Doesn't really matter if it is third party or who of the big 3 is the worst.
