Wow man, you are really getting bad at your rebuttals.

PS2 & XB each had a 150-200% increase in May 2002 when the prices went from $300 to $200.

PS3 & Wii each had roughly a 100% increase in September 2009 when they went from $400 to $300 & $250 to $200.

Hardware going up when a price cut occurs is nothing new and nobody would every say PS2 or Wii were percieved as too expensive by the mass market prior to their price cuts yet they still saw really large boosts.

Like I said, its possible that with better features/marketing/software that 3DS could have sold well at $250 and 3DS doing poorly at $250 means absolutely nothing when it comes to how well Switch sells at $300.

Well said, zorg.

If systems are compared with each other, the entirety of the surrounding circumstances must be taken into account, not just the ones that fit the desired argument.

Thanks!!!

Yep, the concept of a hybrid device is far more compelling than glassless 3D, the marketing for Switch has been leaps & bounds better than 3DS & Switch has a much better 1st party software output for the first 5-6 months.

3DS-Nintendogs & Pilotwings in March, Ocarina of Time 3D in June

Switch-Breath of the Wild & 1-2 Switch in March, Mario Kart in April, ARMS in Spring & Splatoon in Summer.
