300$ + 30*6 = 480.... Not even talking about the price of the games....
The Switch is overpriced to the limits. I expect Nintendo to take a hard blow on the market with it following the first months. And they will be happy to have the 3DS generating income if the Switch fails. Never put all your eggs in the same basket.
Pokemon has great online functionnality, and it would be bad to put a paywall on it. It would divide the fanbase when on 3DS it's free and user friendly.
