I'd say it depends on the price which you can get a Wii U for. If for the msrp of $300, then I'd say you're better off with Switch. Wii U might have the better library right now, but the Switch will probably match it by it's second year, well surpassing it from then on. If you can find a Wii U going for $200 + a game however then go for it.
