It is worth playing if you don't care about the bland gameplay this series always had, it hasn't really aged significantly worse than the 2nd, I finished the first one playing day and night, then for some reason I got bored with the 2nd. Many people think the first one was the best one of the trilogy so I may not be that crazy for enjoying it more after all.
