Ariakon said: Totally anecdotal, but my friend did buy a Pro for Horizon, so there's some "insider" data for .000001 % of the market, ha. This is going to sound so fanboyish, but I do wish Sony and their partners had spread out the ps4 exclusives a bit more. There are so many of them coming out that I simply can't keep up. I just bought the Last Guardian and Gravity Rush 2, and it looks like I'm going to have to skip out on Yakuza 0, Nioh, and Kingdom Hearts in order to afford Horizon and Nier (plus a number of 3rd-party games, like Resident Evil 7, which was much better than I expected, and Mass Effect Andromeda). EDIT: Oh yeah, and Persona 5. This poor grad student can't keep up. |
I don't see the issue, if anything you should be happy. Outside of hype, i feel the only games that warrant a day one purchase are online heavy games. Besides those, single player games can always be picked up later.
So the good thing is when you finally do come around to getting those other games you mentioned, they could cost less. I usually buy no more than a game a month myself.
