almost every photo in the op has been enhanced in either photoshop or lightroom, hell some even still have the exif data from the editing software.

the places are real, so saturation and brightness are not going to change the realistic landscape when those places are excatly like that (with less saturation and less brightness)  these enhanced photos = still more real than computer generated images (videogames)
