I think it is fine to say "Warning: This game is hard", but to use that as some metric toward the score doesn't sit well with me. Mega Man is hard, but that does mean some entries weren't absolute classics.

Some games are brilliant for what they are and don't have a wide audience. The idea that a 90+ game has to have wide appeal makes no sense to me. I think reviewers should respect readers to know "I like this type of game or not" rather than demanding for uniformity.

Nioh looks amazing for what it is. Now, as someone who struggled big time with Demons Souls and watches the wife play Bloodborne I can appreciate Nioh despite the expectation I likely would not be able to beat it.
