That's exactly what I mean by giving false hope. There's no way an USB - C will have enough bandwidth to have another processing unit feeding the console.
This is nothing new in the PC world, you can find plenty of such external graphics card solutions (for laptops mostly) with PCIE connections. The key word here is PCIE.
So before feeding a bs rumor that has no basis to even exist and tricking more people into believing it, a few minutes of research would clarify why it's not possible.
If the Switch was using thunderbolt 3 maybe things would be different
