Can't happen.
There is a thing called "Bandwidth" that is required. USB doesn't have enough.
Plus, USB has a ton of overhead with it's potocol encoding and is a high-latency bus, which will result in a ton of frame pacing and microstutter.
It's also why the PC has never bothered with serious multi-GPU solutions over USB and opts for PCI-E or an interconnect that piggy-backs off PCI-E like thunderbolt.
Patents are also not a guarentee for anything, for obvious reasons.
