Wrong, the 3DS was released in 2011, and it really shows, games like the new Pokemon do not support the 3d feature and even without 3d, the game drop frames like crazy. The 3ds is a dated console and Switch with IS the replacement. Hell, they are already developing a Pokemon game for it, supporting the 3DS any longer will hurt Switch sales, so no, the 3DS wont last 2 more years.
