Ohh, I forgot how that works. When talking about the refresh rate of two screens, you can just take the refresh rate of one screen and double it in order to get the refresh rate of the two combined. My bad. What Sony should have done with PSVR is have two screens instead of one, that way they could advertise a refresh rate of 180hz minimum, instead of the 90hz that reality gives us! Silly Sony!

Ignoring the fact that it was a joke, that device can produce 120 different images (frames) a second. For VR, one large screen split in half at 120 is the same as two screens at 60. In fact, given the increasing power and portability of smartphones, using 2 devices instead of one is probably the best route for VR.
