Yes, but they aren't quite pig either. The problem is that they will be creating a new living being with the sole purpose of killing it just to study it and eventually harvest it's organs for human replacements. Sure it will eventually help humans live longer, but at what cost. Science unchecked is a bit of a problem, sometimes they get so wrapped up in rather or not they can do something that they forget to ask rather or not they should do something (think I just quoted Ian Malcom, lol). There are plenty of other potential avenues for studying diseases and lengthening the human lifespan that don't involve creating something living just to kill it. 

Then you have never seen disposing of male chickens or how chicken nuggets are made.

Created to be killed... and eaten.

If there is a human way of creating new organs, they will surely consider that option.
