I have to disagree Wrath of Cortex ruined the franchise, there was still fun to be had out of Wrath/Twinsanity, no where near the level of the PS1 games but still enjoyable to an extent. Crash of the Titans marked the death to me.

I Also enjoyed Need for Speed Rivals... sure it was no underground or Most Wanted (the original) but it was a good game and certainly better then the other NFS games you listed.

Also I thought Black/White was way better then Diamond/Pearl. xD

Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 (If not 3, World certainly did it.)

NSMB 2 (Rinse, Recycle and repeat, DS was great, Wii added multiplayer, but by the third time they tried to milk the same concept and assets it was tiresome. Then they had the balls to do it a 4th time on WiiU.)

 

I was debating putting rivals there or not, but for me it was a step down from Hot pursuit and Most wanted(2012). I understand your argument, I even think there is some fun to be had in game.

 

The beauty of the Pokemon series is that there is no definitive best game, an argument can be made for each one. People's opinions differ so much in this argument. Diamond/ Pearl were actualy my favourite game of the series :P
