No but they don't need to know what DRM means to be affected by the massive negativity that surrounded the Xbox One Product/Brand because of it.

If something is surrounded by negativity it will affect them, whether they understand why or not.

I agree, but the point is that the general lack of sophistication creates greater susceptibility to marketing ploys.
