honestly, sony shouldn't bother. that said,..

1. actually is portable (unlike switch).
2. able to double as an android phone
2a. means i don't need to carry multiple devices.
2b. access to android apps means support for netflix and the like.
3. APIs that make it ridiculously easy for indie developers to port lower spec'd ps4 games to the portable because let's be honest,.. that's the only way developers are going to support a portable these days.
4. no gimmicks (rear touchpad) but functions as a fully capable ps4 controller (clickable analogs, triggers) so that remote play doesn't feel so awkward.

might as well have a (separately purchased) stand that makes it easy to export the screen to a TV just so nintendo fans can cry about how sony never innovates and only copies nintendo's ideas.



i honestly love my vita but it's support is basically limited to titles that go cross-buy with ps3/4. i'm fine with that. just make a portable system that is actually designed to be a portable system with specs and APIs streamlined enough to get good support for the next 6 years.
