It sort of went like this... Kowenicki proudly declared "Xbox One will usher in 8th gen!" (ignoring the Wii ), on account of earlier worldwide release.
Then someone - turkish i think, said "like no way PS4 came out U.S. a week earlier, haha".
Then Kowenicki fired back "Xbox One is the definitive 8th gen marker, bc china and japan don't matter - they are '2nd world' countries".
Then some sony guy said "Japan virtually invented modern video games!" (ignoring crappy 1st/2nd gen). Kowenicki then got really angry "Look! I decide who invents video games and who starts next generations. Not you, or anyone else. Arrrgghhhh!"
