Dude, hundreds of thousands of people protested Obama at various "tea party" rallies and such over the previous 8 years, and there was NOTHING at any of those protests even remotely close to the violence that has occurred at protests and demonstrations just days into Trump's term in office.  We've already had Trump supporters sucker punched and beaten, and plenty of destruction occurred during the anti-Trump protests after the November election.

Between the post-election protests back in November and the violence we saw in the streets the day before and during Inauguration Day, there's been more violence at anti-Trump protests these past couple months than during all the anti-Obama rallies in 8 years combined.  The only thing more violent in recent memory has been some of the Black Lives Matter riots protests, and again its usually left-wing agitators helping to escalate things and fan the flames at those protests as well.

I agree with this. Anti-Trump protestors seem a lot more violent than the other protestors who get mentioned when people want to defend them. I find it rather dishonest for someone to claim "both sides are equally as bad"... No, not at all.

Like you mentioned, the level  of  violence of Anti-Trump protestors far outweighs the anti-Obama protestors.  Sure it is a minority of all the anti trump people who do these shitty things but is that really a reasonable argument when violence is occuring so often? Nobody is saying most anti-Trump protestors light people on fire but rather that violence is a very serious concern at these protest, more so then it should be. Imagine if only 1% of KKK members lynched people...... and there were a million KKK members! The threat of violence in this case is VERY real and there is clearly something about the movement causing these people to commit violence. An extreme example, I know, but I want to point out that just because it is a small minority doesn't mean it should be overlooked. In this case would anybody ever dare say "well it is less than %1 of them doing this, most of them are non-violent". The anti-Trump people are more violent than other peaceful protestors, we should try and understand the cause of this as clearly it has something to do with the movement itself. I think the cause is when the media (Young Turk's Ana Kasparian being the worst) and Hillary Clinton claims every single Trump supporter are bigoted, racist, sexist, homophobic, islamaphobic, transphobic and xenophobic. To most reasonable people this is just silly, but many people actually believe it (especially college student on my campus). Who really feels bad when a person who is all these things is assualted? A lot of the anti-trump people become detached from reality. picture an actual Nazi getting punched by Jewish man or a black man punching a KKK member. That is how anti-trump liberals view themselves as they punch a Trump supporter.

Have you seen what happens at every Milo Yianopolis college speech? at literally every single one of them protestors arrive to block the entrance from people to get into the lecture hall. and in most of the recent ones it turns violent as the protestors start screaming and assualting people (usually spitting on them or shoving). These protests are mostly because Milo is a Trump supporter lol. If Milo were to come to any big University across the western world, it is almost certain crazed protestors will show up to intimidate the attendees. Once again a minority by far but the threat they present is very real and in this case it is literally unavoidable for most who want to see Milo speak.

Good Post.
