Yes, but they had said desire was to shorten the gap and this game doesn't seem localization intensive to me.  

Ah, okay, I didn't hear that. Of course I would prefer a shorter gap as well. I don't have a Wii U and likely won't get a Switch for some time, yet thought Splatoon looked like fun. Splatoon with the Senran Kagura cast and story sounds even better.
