I'm leaning towards yes. Looking at recent Scorpio rumors, I think it's going to be enough of a departure from Xbox One that it classifies as a new console. If true, then it's pretty much gen 9 with Switch and Scorpio this year, and PS5 on the horizon.
Bet with Intrinsic:
The Switch will outsell 3DS (based on VGchartz numbers), according to me, while Intrinsic thinks the opposite will hold true. One month avatar control for the loser's avatar.
