His first sentence was "best selling home console game", so yeah, he didn't draw any comparision with Pokemon Sun and Moon, he was talking about home consoles.

And the sentence after that talks about just games. And that's like saying "if we ignore 70% of Nintendo's output Sony has the best selling first party game!". Pitiful boast. Narrowly outselling Mario Kart 8 isn't impressive either - considering that game is on a console that is a big commercial failure.
