Bravo.. This guy gets it.

No disrespect to any that fit this category.. But the hardcore forum dwelling gamer simply is not in touch with the majority of the gaming community, let alone the masses at large. In fact it anything, the majority view on gaming forums tends to represent the opposite of reality.. I was there well before the Wii phenomenon, posting here and other boards. Most "hardcore" despised it and were 100% convinced it would sell like 10 million and lead to Nintendo going third party. When it sold over 100 mill, they scrambled to save face by chalking it up to idiotic "casuals," so you know - it doesn't really count. When Switch is a similar success, they will attempt to deflect their miscalculations and undermine Nintendo in a different way - since they can't really use the casual argument anymore looking judging from the lineup..
