The game could cost fifty cents per month for all I care. Making me having a character (and a game itself) tied to a paid account instantly kills any desire I would have to play it. Gaming as a hobby is expensive enough already, no need to have Square-Enix shoving me their apparently cheap fees because they're greedy.
