Where does it say its not in the same universe? Friggin about the same Guardians as in SOTC.

Just because Ewok doesn't have Star Wars in its name doesn't mean its not related to Star Wars.

So almost all of Miyazaki's movies take place in the same universe? Because they share a lot of similarities and the same artist's unique design sensibilities?

There is a newspaper talking about the infection from TLOU in Uncharted 3... I guess TLOU really is a sequel to that franchise... 

And the official words by Fumito Ueda is that it's up to the players to decide if they're in the same universe or not. The game wasn't created or intended as a sequel.
