You keep talking about the average Joe in the hope that gives credibility to your argument ... so I'll play along. The Average Joe doesn't care about power either so they'll go for the console that's currently the 'in thing' or the console their friends are playing on. If people want to talk about Joe Blogs then they'd better be aware it doesn't serve their argument well.

2 Informed gamers pick PS4
3 Those interested in PS4 exclusives pick PS4
4 Those looking for a bigger library pick PS4
5 Those people who like 'niche' titles pick PS4
6 Those people interested in XB1 exclusives pick XB1.
Unfortunately 3 and 6 no longer count ...
