Why does Microsoft xbox scorpio need exclusives when the top best selling games are multiplatform?

Wait Exclusives don't sell well then why every exclsusive Sony released since 2013 sold over 2 mil copies on a budget of 30-50 mil.

Hell let's look at ratchet and Clank people speculate that the game 20 mil budget sold over 2.3 mil.

I don't know if that isn't profit i don't know what it is.

Uncharted coverd it's cost and everything in a week selling 2.7 mil copies if that is not profit i don't know what it is and plus how much consoles it moved.
