Why does Microsoft xbox scorpio need exclusives when the top best selling games are multiplatform?

People simply dont care enough about resolutions past 1080p.

Its what most have as tv's, and even those with 4k tv's alot wont spend a extra 200$ to get a scorpio.

What if it isn't just resolution. What if the textures, lighting, ect is all better on xbox scorpio?

The PS4pro has some of that too.... and it doesnt appear it matters much.

People still go for the cheapest console, which is the normal slim version.
