This to me sounds like pr more than anything. The real indicator of pc gaming growing for me would me increase software revenue. More gamers means more game purchases. More hardware could just mean the same people upgrading, or higher cost of componets. As far as I know, console game sales have always dwarfed the pc game sales.
It takes genuine talent to see greatness in yourself despite your absence of genuine talent.
