One of the most striking things to me to have happened during Wii U's lifetime is Nintendo's choice to advertise Splatoon, a low-medium budget title, as much as they advertised Mario Kart 8, the flagship title of the Wii U and, incredibly, it paid off. Of course Splatoon's success isn't only because of the ads, a key role in its great sales was the Splatoon Global Testfire which gave everyone the opportunity to try the game and really made the hype for the game skyrocket.

So now we have the sequel to the  surprise success, the budget for the game HAS TO BE more substantial, the development has been longer and there's a big fanbase for the game an here I am questioning: what level of advertisement will Splatoon 2 get ? Will it be advertised even more than Splatoon or will Nintendo spend less expecting the game to sell well enough by its own ? Also do you expect a new Global Testfire to occur in the months leading to the launch of the game ?
