I have said this before and I will say it again. Miiverse was awesome and also the worst thing Nintendo could have done. It doesn't attract new users to Nintendo, the social aspect of Miiverse was a closed system, only used by people who were already Nintendo customers. The right thing for Nintendo to do is close down Miiverse and have Nintendo customers use existing social networks. That way non-customers will be exposed to Nintendo's ecosystem, and new customers will be made. The best thing Nintendo can do is kill Miiverse and spread out to other social networks.
